This project showcases the transformation of a residential staircase with a custom-fabricated indoor steel handrail. The "before and after" photos highlight the clean, modern upgrade from the original railing to a sleek black powder-coated system.

The new handrail includes a main rail measuring over 112" in length, built with 1-1/4" box tube for the top, bottom, and posts. Horizontal pickets were fabricated from 1" x 1/2" rectangular tubing, providing both strength and visual balance. Each post is secured with 3"x3" base plates and lag screws for a secure and lasting installation.

Finished in matte black powder coat, the result is a minimalist, durable railing system that enhances both the safety and aesthetics of the space.
